Zodiac Online(ZO) is a turning-base MMO game. Visit ZO's official website here http://zodiac.enjoymmo.com/
In ZO, you have total 12 type of characters base on 12 zodiac sign. They're Mouse, Rooster, Dragon, Sheep, Rabbit, Snake, Pig, Monkey, Dog, Ox, Tiger and Horse. There're female and male version for each character.
In ZO, we have aptitude system instead class system. There will be 12 aptitude for you to choose. So you can choose a aptitude to match to your style. For example, if I like my character become good at attack so I will choose H&A (hit and attack) for my character. Then you will build (str, dex, int and vit) your character that support your aptitude. You will discover each aptitude in the game.
About features in ZO, you will see something similar and different between ZO and other games.
Quest: like alot MMO games ZO have a quest system. But there are many type of quest in ZO. Such as Main Quest (which you can gain alot exp and good equipment from it) ,Repeatable Quest (which you can do over and over again you also get some rare items if you lucky) Renown quest( which will give you renown point) .... and many type of quest. But just about last in the new version of ZO which is Final Close Beta, there is a new type of quest. It's called Wagon Quest or Escorting Quest. And basically, when you get the quest you will receive a wagon from a NPC, you will take it to a destination that the NPC tell you. Guild: There is guild system in ZO yeahhhh (it's not really a big deal lol). There're something in ZO's guild system that made guild in ZO become very special. That you can build your guild. You can do your guild quest, collect ore and wood for guild, donate money for guild to build some buildings in guild and help guild level up. But what's the point of doing that? For each building you built in your guild. There will be the NPC ( I call it guild NPC) have the same function as the NPC outside the guild( I call it normal NPC) so guild NPC will give more advantage than normal NPC give you. You will understand more about that when you play it.
Event: In order to make ZO become more interesting to players, GMs hold many events. You will might got a ton of gold, rare items,... There're also weekly event event in ZO. My favorite event is Piggy Fighting which give you alot of exp after you will pigs. But in Final Close Beta of ZO there's also a very new event it's called War of Divine Animals, I don't know very much about it because It's also very new to me. Skill: ZO have a really cool skill system. It divide into 4 type of skill(str skill, dex skill, int skill, and vit skill). And each type of skill have 4 level (C1, C2, C3, C4) C1 skill is a basic skill so you will get it at very early lv and C4 is the strongest skill, because it's strongest skill so it require high lv and hard to find because no NPC sell C3 and C4. And the highest lv of those skill are lv10. You also have aptitude skill, that's a skill that go with your aptitude. It's a normal skill but have a higher max lv. The highest lv of aptitude skills are lv12. So it will give you more damage of your skills. Skills are very important. They decide how strong you will be. But there're skill another skills, they're not for fighting but they use to collect ore and gold and other stuff, make food and equipment. Few of them are mining, lumbering, cooking or compose... They will help you do some quest and college some stuff for guild guest.
Oh I forgot a very important thing. It's pet system. You have 12 type of pets same as 12 characters (Mouse, Rooster, Dragon, Sheep, Rabbit, Snake, Pig, Monkey, Dog, Ox, Tiger and Horse) they're usually called Zodiac Pet. When you create a character you won't have a pet that time. When you reach to very early lv I think lv5 you will receive a quest and you will get a pet as a reward of the quest you will get a pet accord to your character( example, you have ox character so you will got a ox ^^). You also can capture the pet if you lucky enough to see Zodiac pet. You can use any type of pet you want. But remember you only have 3 slots for pet, I will give you a hint that you can release a pet. The very interesting about pet system is you can tame a monster to become your own pet. You can use your tame pet to make your Zodiac pet become a gen 2 pet. So in ZO's pet system you can you your pet from gen1 to gen2 and final to gen3. Your pet will get stronger each time. You will see more about when you experience them.
Do you know what Renown Point are? lol it was a tricky question. It's new feature in ZO. So what do it does? You can exchange renown points for skill's exp. So you can become stronger if you have more renown points. You can get renown from main quest, renown quest and wagon quest.
ZO also has chat system. ZO has World Chat, Guild Chat, Team Chat, Current Chat, PM.
